Venue: Gladstone’s Library, Hawarden.
Free Motion Embroidery (or Freehand Machine Embroidery or Free Machine Embroidery which are the other terms used to describe this skill) is the technique of sewing freely with your sewing machine. Normally, the feed dogs will move your fabric through the machine, with this technique, the feed dogs are dropped out of the way or covered up and you have complete freedom. This enables you to draw, doodle, write and enjoy creating stitches however you would like.
The workshops are designed to be relaxed, enjoyable and informative. We also like to make it easy for people to come by providing all of the materials and use of all of the equipment needed, within the cost. All you need to do is come along and sew.
